Thunder Cash volatility feels way softer than 3/6 - dead machine?

Been having a few slaps on Thunder Cash at my local too and the free games have paid me sweet nothing 😅 quick question though, total noob here, if the RTP is set per venue, does that mean the pub can actually pick a tighter setting? Or is it just whatever the state minimum is across the board? Cheers if anyone can clear that up 🙏

Good question Darwin, and yes, the pub genuinely has a choice. The state sets a minimum return, but the venue can configure the machine anywhere at or above that, so two clubs running Thunder Cash side by side can play noticeably different. Worth remembering the volatility is rated 3/6, which is moderate, so a stretch of dead free games can happen even on a generous setting. Depends on the volatility how lumpy those dry patches feel. Ask the club staff or the gaming manager; some will actually tell you what config they run.
Volatility > vibes.

Maybe I'm being dumb but how would you even find out what setting a venue put on it? Do they have to tell you if you ask? 😅

Righto MaxBet, honest answer is most venues won't tell you and don't have to spell it out. Think of it like two mates driving the same ute, one's got the tank fuller, same machine, different setup at each pub. I've had Thunder Cash sing like Queen of the Nile in its prime at one club up the road and pay bugger-all at another, so if yours is dead, try a different venue before you write the game off 😉
I remember the old slots first-hand.

Yeah the venue setting thing tracks with what I've felt, Thunder Cash at my club's been a dead machine for weeks, might try the one at the pub across town and see if it's got more juice 🤔

Dead machine or not, I'm still giving Thunder Cash a slap every Friday 🤣 The 3/6 feels about right to me, the free games go quiet for ages then one arvo at the club it dropped the jackpot and I was up big 🔥💰 Shop around like SteveCobber says, your pub's might just be running tighter than mine 🎰🤑
