Playing Lightning Link on mobile, does Happy Lantern work on a phone?
Happy Lantern's a good one, hit the feature at my local a few weeks back and it was chaos 😅 I've wondered the same about playing it on the phone though - maybe I'm being dumb but I reckon the Aristocrat Lightning Link stuff is venue-only, no proper app for it here? Would love to be wrong 🙏

SamJackpot hit it early and everyone's agreed since. The Lightning Link stuff only lives on the club floor, and honestly I'd be suspicious of anything on a phone waving that name around. What the boys said about venues playing different is spot on though. I've sat on the same Happy Lantern cabinet in two clubs ten minutes apart and one's paying like it owes you a favour, the other's tighter than my old truck seat. The old Queen of the Nile used to feel the same way back in the day, same machine, different pub, different night.

The venue thing is actually fair dinkum though, been to a few clubs around Newcastle and the Happy Lanterns all feel different. But I'd add the real reason the app store junk stings - those "Happy Lantern" knockoffs are bankroll traps dressed up as the real thing. @BrekkieNorth1995 agreed, those phone versions of Lightning Link are just churn traps dressed up with lanterns, I'd never put actual deposit dollars in one. Floor machine gives you a receipt-worthy payout at the counter and that's half the win 🎰 Solid tip though mate 👌

The knockoffs are worse than traps, most of them never pay a cent back. Anyone chasing the lantern on their phone should post a withdrawal receipt from one of those apps first. Until then I'll believe it when someone actually cashes out.
