Anyone else reckon the Balloon scratchie feels rigged?
Had a slap on Balloon at the servo this arvo myself and same story, three tickets, biggest return barely covered one of them. It's an instant, no draw, no system entry, just you and the latex, so there's nowhere to hide when the panels come up empty.
Genuine question for the thread though: has anyone actually landed a decent hit on this one, or does it only ever pay the token small stuff? I treat scratchies like a side bet off my main bankroll, set an A$ limit, walk when it's gone. But Balloon's starting to feel like dead money even by scratchie standards. 🔥😭
Darwin, mate, welcome aboard, and no, a whole pack won't fix anything. The odds are printed per ticket, so buying ten in a row just means ten chances to walk out muttering. I've seen fellas at the RSL peel a full pack of five and get bugger-all, then some kid grabs a single on a whim and takes the feature prize. That's instant games for you, pure luck of the scratch.

With a scratchie it's two minutes and done, win or bust. Turned 50 into 5k once on club machines back in the day, but I've busted more banks than I care to count on these latex little heartbreakers too. Buy one now and then for the fun of the peel, never as a plan. Ah well, we grind on 😄

FruitWin nailed it, those printed odds cover the whole print run, so the box at your local shop owes you nothing. Rigged though? I'd say it's working exactly as designed. I do the books for a living and even I can't make the Balloon maths look friendly. On prizes left: I've never found a reliable way to check the small stuff, and even knowing the top-prize count wouldn't change the odds on the ticket already in your hand.

Re: MaxBetLifeMode - yeah there's usually a page on the lottery site showing remaining top prizes per game, worth a squiz before you buy. My own tip from the servo: ask when the shop cracked open the current pack, cos a freshly opened one feels looser than a box that's been sitting there for weeks. Scratchies are pure luck either way, no hot or cold panels 🎰

Rigged? nah - Brizzie_Mate called it, the game does exactly what the whole print run odds say it'll do. I run scratchies the same way I'd clear a bonus: fixed cap for the week and if the first couple panels come up dead I walk instead of chasing. Freo_True's fresh-pack tip is worth a try, but the disciplined walk has saved me more than any Balloon ticket ever paid back 💸

MaxWinLord's weekly cap approach is the same discipline I run on everything. Did a A$20 Balloon arvo last week, first three panels dead so I pocketed the rest and moved on. Chasing a scratchie is worse than chasing a pokie, zero features to bail you out 💸
